Over and over again, they call it a “tragedy!” According to political
leaders, it was a “disaster,” a “catastrophe,” or a “terrible tragedy.’ In
reality, it was vicious, heartless, brutal MURDER! It was the SLAUGHTER of
thousands of innocent men, women and children — civilians, who had no
remote idea such a vicious attack was coming! Americans need to call it
what it WAS, and not give in to “political correctness” at such a time.
As I watched the moving ceremonies commemorating the brutal attack against
America a year ago on September 11, I could not help but think of the
contrast between the mood of America; the statements coming from the
media, and, sometimes, even from its leaders, between 9/11, 2002, and
December 7, 1941.
When the Japanese struck the US fleet, then anchored in the shallow waters
of Pearl Harbor, Oahu, Hawaii, America was at peace. Though all of Europe;
Britain and Russia; China and Japan were in the throes of all-out war, the
United States had pursued a neutral policy. Though it was increasingly
obvious we could not remain aloof from the suffering of Britain and
western Europe, we had committed no overt acts against Japan, Germany, or
Italy — the “axis” powers.
When the sneak attack occurred, 19 ships were sunk or damaged, and 2,300
service personnel and civilians died. More people died in the attacks on
9/11 than died at Pearl Harbor! When I was only a boy of eleven, America’s
huge battleships were bombed into burning hulks, twisted metal, sunk,
rolled over, run aground. The “great white fleet:” which had
circumnavigated the globe; which had impressed nations all around the
world with America’s power and might, then lay burning following the
greatest attack against America in our history.
As a boy of 10, only a year before the attack, the “fleet was in” (as the
saying was then), at Bremerton, Washington. My father took me aboard a
ferry to Bremerton. The big ships were open to the public. They were
docked by twos; side by side, so that we could go from aboard one to
another -- although they were much alike. I shall never forget being shown
inside some of the big 16 inch gun turrets; shown how hoists from the
magazines, deep within the ship’s hulls, brought gleaming heavy white
canvas bags, shaped like a cylinder, and huge shells, into the turrets.
Gunner’s mates showed us how the huge shell was rammed up into the gun by
a long, hydraulically-operated rammer; how the bags (several of them) were
then rammed in behind them, and how the gun was fired. I had no idea the
big gun’s ammunition was not a single “bullet” until then.
We went aboard, if memory serves, at least two of them; probably the
Arizona and Utah, or the Nevada. How impressed I was! What POWER I saw! It
was as if they were invincible; the greatest ships in the world to a
wide-eyed little boy from the fourth grade in school!
Then, a year later, when I heard that these proud ships; these mighty
symbols of America’s power and strength, had been almost instantly
destroyed, I could hardly believe it!
Not once did our President of the time, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, tell us
we should not “blame the Japanese people,” but only a handful of fanatics
among them!
Suddenly, Americans were FURIOUS at the Japanese! Had it not been for this
outpouring of FURY, it is likely our isolationist country would have
remained neutral for a much longer period of time. Suddenly, every “Jap,”
or “Nip” as we called them, was a deadly enemy! There were no cautions in
the media about hurting anyone’s feelings by “racial profiling.” There
were no calls for honoring Shinto or Buddhist Shrines, or telling children
to “act out being a Buddhist!”
Instead, America was suddenly AT WAR against JAPAN — not just against the
Japanese generals and admirals — against Japan, and the Japanese people!
Today, we are told we are AT WAR AGAINST TERRORISM, but we are NOT at war
against Islam! What we do not realize is that ISLAM IS AT WAR AGAINST US!
Time and time again, as I have heard all the fair speeches and dignified
words leading up to the 9/11 commemoration, I have heard about “All
Americans, in their churches, synagogues and mosques” must be united; must
join together; must decry terrorism. In their mosques?
But it is IN THE MOSQUES where the mullahs spew out their vitriol; their
hatred; their contempt against all of America; against nominal Christians
and Jews. Many mosques have been used as safe harbors for terrorists; as
recruiting stations for future terrorists; as platforms for proselyting!
Islam is the FASTEST GROWING RELIGION IN AMERICA!
It is growing because of vast numbers of north African and Middle Eastern
immigrants pouring over our borders, both legally and illegally. It is
growing among African Americans by leaps and bounds. It is growing among
younger single men.
An unspoken sixth tenet of Islam is that of Islamic intent to bring the
entire world under the green banner of Islam, or “submission.”
When will our leaders wake up to the fact that all this “tolerance” plays
directly into the hands of terrorists?
You have no doubt seen pictures of Palestinian mothers and fathers,
proudly displaying little toddlers, equipped with mock AK-47 assault
rifles, with bomb belts around their waists, saying they dream of the day
when their little children can become suicide bombers!
By contrast, America’s first Lady, Laura Bush, was urging that American
mothers not allow their children to view the replay of the airplanes
flying into the trade towers, and the fiery collapse of the buildings,
lest they be overly traumatized.
But why not show our children exactly what happened, and WHO WAS
RESPONSIBLE? Why not explain to them that an ENEMY RELIGION glorifies
DEATH rather than life; glorifies MURDER as a means to achieving their
version of “heaven?”
Can we At least profile TERRORISTS??
Soon, my wife and I will be (God willing) traveling to all six US Feast
sites. We will need to undergo twenty-two take offs and landings aboard
many different commercial airplanes. We will be searched, scrutinized,
required to show our picture ID cards, many, many times.
The last time I flew (to Ft. Wayne, Indiana), I was singled out, made to
take off my boots, and even had a man wave an electronic wand over my
socks! I watched in amazement as airport security personnel would search a
man with a short-sleeved shirt, and wave an electronic wand over his bare
arms! It makes me wonder whether the IQ level of an airport security agent
must be at least 45!
I remember when Governor Joe Foss of Montana; a World War II fighter
pilot, and ace, who shot down many Japanese airplanes, was detained TWICE,
and searched by zealous airport security personnel! They confiscated a
“sharp metal object” he had in his luggage. The “metal object” he
explained to them was his CONGRESSIONAL MEDAL OF HONOR he had received in
World War II. They confiscated it, nevertheless. I understand it was
returned to him later.
Thanks. How “decent” of the security personnel.
Security personnel are warned they must not be found using “racial
profiling.” Therefore, they must search AT RANDOM! Every sixth, or
seventh, or ninth person, depending upon the random pattern of the day, is
therefore searched. The other day, this meant searching a seven-year old
boy, and making him remove his shoes as well! So, a swarthy, obviously
Middle-easterner goes straight through if he does not happen to be number
7 or 9, while white-haired, elderly Americans are subject to extensive
harassment and search!
As an oft-traveling member of the flying public, I can tell you I have
seen many, many outrageous excesses perpetrated by these newly-hired
“government employees.”
Ridiculously, many of them are foreigners — even Middle Easterners! Some
speak only very little English! The vast majority are from minorities. It
has been proved that many have been illegal immigrants; possessed fake
documents. As you probably know, some reporters recently proved they could
board any number of airliners with box cutters or knives hidden in their
carry-on baggage! They even boarded a plane from Boston’s Logan Airport,
the airport from which one of the 9/11 aircraft was boarded by the
terrorists! Frankly, the so-called “heightened security” in the hands of
such people, with such ridiculous policies, is a joke!
OF COURSE THERE SHOULD BE RACIAL PROFILING!! At least, there should be
TERRORIST profiling!
EVERY Middle-easterner should be THOROUGHLY SEARCHED every time he or she
flies! Will this upset them? Of course! But SO WHAT? THEY ARE IN THE
UNITED STATES OF AMERICA — the land of freedom and opportunity! Their
countrymen are vigorously trying to destroy this country; to kill as many
of us as they can! When I am thoroughly searched, even to having my
footwear removed, and, ridiculously, having a wand passed over my stocking
feet, I take it tolerantly, with a patient (if slightly contemptuous)
smile on my face. Should Middle easterners be guaranteed they do not need
to undergo the same kind of search?
What kind of “tolerance” do you think YOU would experience, as an
American, traveling in Iraq, or Iran, or Libya, or Saudi Arabia?
To adopt the namby-pamby, smarmy, sentimental Protestant concepts of “love
your neighbor” as NATIONAL POLICY IN A TIME OF WAR is patently stupid!
Yes, individual Christians are to love even their enemies! But America’s
government is not a theocracy. Our government leaders are not religious
leaders, but political leaders. It is foolish to apply Protestant concepts
of “tolerance” to government agencies in a time of war!
When King David warred against His enemies, he knew they were also enemies
of God Himself, and the people of God! He said, “I have pursued mine
enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were
consumed.
“I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen
under my feet.
“For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued
under me those that rose up against me.
“Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy
them that hate me.
“They cried, but there was none to save them: even unto the LORD, but he
answered them not.
“Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them
out as the dirt in the streets” (Psalms 18:37-42).
David did not preach “tolerance” for the enemies of his country, and
enemies of God.
“Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye
bloody men.
“For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in
vain.
“Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with
those that rise up against thee?
“I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies” (Psalms
139:19-22). David knew who his enemies were! He did not blame merely a few
fanatics among the Philistines, Hivites, Jebusites or Ammonites! No, he
knew their entire society, government and religion was utterly corrupt! He
knew he must either destroy them, or they would destroy him, and his
country! David was a warrior, not a politically correct leftist apologist!
David was a man after God’s own heart! He will become the KING over all
Israel in the millennium (Jeremiah 30:9).
The “Philistines” (from which is derived the name “Palestine”) were his
implacable enemies; the enemies of the true God. Today, millions of
worshipers of a false god and a false prophet seek the destruction of the
United States. Instead of labeling them what they are; instead of
admitting they are ENEMIES of every freedom-loving American, too many
Americans, including too many of our leaders, heed the whimpering,
spineless, sentimental voices of leftist liberals who insist upon
“political correctness!”
These people live inside our country, and use the very freedoms they hate
in order to conceal their true agendas, and plot against us. They eat in
our restaurants, travel our roads and airlines, use our telephone systems,
and obtain our driver’s licenses and identification documents. They prate
and complain about being “singled out,” and preach “political
correctness!” They pursue their evil agendas under the aegis of “civil
rights,” and even have many civil rights organizations pleading their
cause!
Our schools insist that children learn about Islam, and even act out
Islamic religion!
Our leaders continually include “mosques” in their statements about
churches. Political leaders quote the Bible, as did the president
recently, when reading Romans 8:38, 39, OMITTED the words here italicized:
“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor
principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor
height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us
from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
The reason he omitted the words above?
BECAUSE JEWS AND MUSLIMS WERE IN HIS AUDIENCE, AND LISTENING ON
TELEVISION.
Time and time again, when I hear so-called Christian ministers reading a
prayer, I notice they OMIT the phrase “In Jesus’ name!” They do not wish
to insult Jews and Muslims!
Therefore, their prayers are NOT HEARD!
So long as America panders to its enemies; so long as we try to “buy”
lovers abroad (as we are doing in the case of so many countries, including
Europe and Saudi Arabia), God will NOT bless us! Continually, our leaders
conclude speeches by asking, “God bless America!”
But God WILL NOT bless us unless we truly turn to HIM in personal and
national repentance, begin to obey His laws, and depend upon HIM to
protect us from our enemies!
God says to us, “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man
his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy
upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon” (Isaiah 55:6,7).
Instead of doing this, we have educational institutions like Berkeley,
California, who, even on the day commemorating the vicious, murderous
terrorist attack upon America, refused to mention God, or even patriotic
symbols and slogans, lest they “offend” anyone!
I believe that anyone who is “offended” by mention of God or patriotic
symbols, should leave this country and go to Iran or Iraq, where the
American flag is burnt, instead of saluted.
As
you know, the majority of the 9/11 hijackers were Saudi Arabians! In spite
of this, America continues to woo the corrupt regime of Saudi Arabia; the
same country which refused to help our FBI in tracking down the bombers of
the Khobar Towers; the same country which, today, refuses to allow the US
to use the bases we built with American tax dollars for launching any
attack against Iraq!
As I relived the vicious slaughter of that infamous day; watching as they
crashed the second plane into the second tower; watching flailing bodies
falling as people jumped to their death; watching the booming, billowing
clouds of dust come rushing down the streets, my outrage, my seething
anger, my righteous RAGE boiled within me!
While the hijackers died at the same instant of their victims, there are
THOUSANDS, nay MILLIONS of those who applaud them; who revere them,
CELEBRATING AND REJOICING as Americans weep! TV stations refused to show
the “Muslim clerics” celebrating in Saudi Arabia and all the Arabs in many
Middle Eastern cities rejoicing. I wish they had!
Perhaps such scenes can help convince some of the “politically correct”
among us that they are conducting themselves with an attitude and spirit
of mind bordering on high treason!
