RFK Jr. suspends presidential campaign and endorses Donald Trump in court filing

The announcement comes on the heels of Kennedy withdrawing himself from the ballot in Arizona late Thursday.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s campaign told a Pennsylvania court that he would be endorsing Republican nominee and former President Donald Trump ahead of his Friday afternoon address in which he suspended his 2024 presidential campaign.

Kennedy made his endorsement official in a Pennsylvania court filing on Friday, which said that he is withdrawing from the ballot in the state “as a result of today’s endorsement” of Trump.

Trump will hold a rally later today in neighboring Glendale, Arizona, just miles away from where Kennedy made his address in Phoenix. Trump’s campaign has teased that he will be joined by “a special guest,” though neither campaign responded to messages about whether Kennedy would be that guest.
