Weekly Update by Mark Armstrong – November 10, 2023
Greetings from Tyler,
Demonstrations going on around the United States are making the news. Who are these people, and what are they doing here, you might ask. At least I would. Shutting down bridges? Clogging Grand Central Station? What on earth? Don’t show us the pictures, but show them. Let’s see if they can stand it. See if they still want to clog the streets.
My Dad used to say, the Arab nations around Israel are huge. Surely they could outfit some enclave for the Palestinians. But no. Maybe they could make a home in Europe. Their relatives already have. As long as they don’t send them here.
So the Judge in the New York case against Trump has embarrassed himself. This is what Letitia James campaigned on. Even though all the banks were paid back on time, the claim is that Trump inflated the value of other properties in order to get loans. Everybody got paid. So there will be no victim statements. Maybe the publicity will hurt him. Probably not.
Can you stand to look at what’s going on at the border? This morning I heard one of the analysts say, “It’s a full scale invasion,” regardless of the weird expressions on Mayorkis’ face. The feds keep telling us everything is fine, it’s under control. But the pictures of the hordes en route tell a different story. So it’s up to the states, or the citizens… But then they’ll get sued by the feds.
We hear that Gaza City has been surrounded by Israeli soldiers, and now the terrorists are in hiding. But they’ve got over one hundred hostages, and you can see how brave they are. We never stop hearing about the “humanitarian pause.” Maybe they should have thought about it before they committed the worst massacre in recent memory. Now they want a pause!
Undoubtedly Netanyahu is under tremendous pressure. There are those who say this whole thing is a result of a huge intelligence failure. The Mossad has definitely lost some of its enviable reputation. But Mr. Netanyahu says a pause would mean Israel loses. Israel is within its rights to make sure this never happens again.
Remember all the “shuttle diplomacy,” with Henry Kissinger running back and forth between Arab capitals? “Land for peace” was the phrase used over and over. Eventually Israel gave the Palestinians Gaza in exchange for peace. Jewish settlers were relocated so that they could run their own show. Everybody gave them money. But instead of building infrastructure, they invested in tunnels and weapons.
Who could imagine? Thirty miles of Mediterranean waterfront, and all they can think about is their hatred for Jews. The animosity, the jealousy goes all the way back to Biblical times and it may end up being the spark that ignites world war.
There are reports of attacks on U. S. bases in the region. Responses have been tepid, to say the least. The U. S. may be at war with Iran before this is over. Iran supplied the munitions and the training for this escapade. Those calling the shots in Gaza are holed up in some penthouse in Qatar.
There are some filthy rich Arab countries who could easily give the Palestinians somewhere to go. But huge refugee camps have been set up along the Egyptian border. Israel has dropped leaflets letting the locals know that everything is about to be turned into rubble, but Hamas has prevented their departure. Huge refugee camps have been set up along the Egyptian border. There are routes open now, and civilians can flee. But the truth is, there are no civilians. Everybody has been brainwashed with hatred.
Here in the U. S. we have the squad in Congress. One of them was just censured. From the river to the sea? Keep dreaming. Mark
