Weekly Update by Mark Armstrong – September 9, 2022
Greetings from Tyler,
The whole world mourns the death of Queen Elizabeth, and the great blessing of stability she was beyond whatever controversy. She didn’t do interviews, and never offended with her personal opinions. She was dignified, qualified, and most importantly a descendant of King David according to Biblical proclamation.
Enter King Charles. He’s been in the public eye, performing Royal duties all his life. His ex-wife, the dearly beloved Dianna is the mother of the next in line, William who brings the too good to be true Kate to the fore. We must forget whatever scandals or embarrassments of the past and pray for King Charles and for the guidance of Divine wisdom.
He’s not America’s King, but he does occupy a very important and friendly throne. He will be officially crowned at a later date, though he became King as of the moment his mother died. There are already arguments about whether Camilla is now Queen, and what her title will be. Charles becomes King at age 73, the oldest in British history. Liz Truss has just been elected Prime Minister. May King Charles provide the stabilizing respect his mother enjoyed.
